There is a very large population not affiliated with any specific religious order.
When someone dies, families are often at a loss, not knowing whom to call.
Many people are not comfortable with a traditional religious funeral ceremony.
The need for Celebrants has become more apparent.

The Celebrant movement is relatively new to this country. It is widely used in
New Zealand and Australia. Doug Manning, one of the leading speakers and authors
in this area of bereavement toured these countries several years ago and brought
back the concept that people in the United States and Canada needed to have this
option available to them also.

The healing began when a friend embraced me leaving some of his tears on my cheek. |

We establish the significance of someone’s life and the profound effect that person
has had on other lives. A funeral is a gathering of friends and family with a message
to convey that their life mattered and lives were touched by this person’s life.
A meaningful service performed by a Celebrant recognizes that significance and helps
their family and friends move forward knowing their loved one has been truly honored. Planning a meaningful service is an act of love. |
| I am so grateful knowing that I can perform meaningful services and help families pay tribute to their loved ones. |
